EY Activities

First day of school

The very first day of kindergarten! With a backpack almost as big as they are and a heart full of excitement (and maybe a few butterflies), the tiny feet walked through the doors ready to begin a new adventure.

The day started with big smiles (and maybe a few tears) as we said goodbye and waved at the classroom door. Inside, they met new friends, explored the classroom, and took part in fun activities like story time, coloring, and even a little learning!

We are so proud of them and can’t wait to see how much they grow this school year!

Eid, Ugadi celebrations

On 28th March 2025 our tiny munchkins celebrated Eid ul Fitr and Ugadi. They came dressed in traditional outfits & enjoyed the day with dance and fun filled activities. We had so much fun learning about both festivals. Celebrating Eid and Ugadi helped us understand and respect each other’s cultures. We love being part of such a happy and colorful classroom!

Magical Seasons

The changing seasons offer a wonderful opportunity for the Early years tiny tots to learn about the world around them. Today they together celebrated “Magical seasons”. The day started off with an exciting special assembly with seasonal dance and speeches about seasons by the munchkins followed by fantastic activities in classrooms. The classrooms were transformed into a magical place according to the seasons by the talented teachers of Early years.

Tickle Your Senses

Five senses activity “Tickle your senses” conducted today at Early years, Attapur.
Sensory play activities naturally encourage children to use different processes as they play, create, investigate and explore the world around them. Learning with more than one sense has been shown to provide many educational and cognitive benefits for all learners.

Earth Day

Earth Day was celebrated today in Early years.
A keen focus was given to the changes that have happened in the lives of humans from the past until now in terms of clothing, communication and transport.
Learners enjoyed knowing how things were in the past and how it is in the present day through a fashion parade by EY1 flaunting retro and modern looks.
EY2 and EY3 enlightened all by their fabulous activity of ‘Then and Now’ by showcasing transport and communication.

Experiential Learning Session

EY1 learners have an experiential learning session wherein they learn about germination through a fantastic hands-on activity. 👆🏽

Ice Cream Sticks Activity

Children in EY1 are able to recognize and count numbers effectively through engaging activities like using popsicle sticks, which support hands-on learning in early years classrooms. This type of activity allows young learners to physically represent and count objects, helping them build a strong foundation in number recognition.

Recognize Animals Activity

Learners are able to recognise the animals with their pattern and with the help of cotton dabbing on the aquarium for the topic animals and their homes. Activity done by Ey1 Alpha.

Primary Activities

Middle & Secondary Activities

Career Guidance Session

Solitaire Global Schools organized an engaging career guidance session for students of Grades 9 to 12 in collaboration with ANU Research School of Management. The session was led by Dr Andrew Bradly is a Senior Lecturer in International Business and former Deputy Director (Education) in the ANU Research School of Management and Mr. Jonty Hall, experts in the field of career counseling and higher education pathways.

The resource persons shared valuable insights on the importance of early career planning and guided students on identifying their strengths, interests, and aspirations. They discussed various academic and professional opportunities available after school, highlighting both traditional and emerging career fields.  Dr Andrew emphasized skill development, adaptability, and the role of technology in shaping future careers while Mr. Jonty spoke about international education prospects, competitive exams, and the importance of making informed choices.

The session was highly interactive, with students actively participating in Q&A discussions to clarify their doubts regarding higher education, career options, and global opportunities. The guidance provided helped students gain a clearer perspective on aligning their personal goals with future aspirations. The school management expressed gratitude to Dr. Andrew & Mr. Jonty for conducting such an enriching session that empowered students with knowledge and direction for their academic and professional journeys.

Science Activity

Grade 7 Amigo and Alpha went to the lab. Some glimpses of paper and chalk chromatography in action.

English Activity

Grade-4 classrooms recently had an English Activity focused on writing poems and songs using rhyming patterns. The week began with the Kookaburra Bird song, where children noticed how simple words paired with rhyme can sound incredible.
They learned that rhyming usually comes at the end of lines, either in pairs or alternates, and that poems should be concise and true to their theme. A rhyming word list helped them choose topics and build their own poems.
Working in groups with roles like leader, scribe, and narrator, they collaborated to create wonderful first attempts. The activity was joyful, creative, and very fruitful.

Economics Research Project Summary

Our Grade 9 students explored real-world economic conditions such as the 🧅 onion price rise, 💻 semiconductor chip shortage, 🦠 COVID-19 & resource allocation, and ⛽ global fuel surge.
They examined how these situations impacted consumers, producers, and the government, using tools like the Production Possibility Curve and Demand & Supply diagrams to explain market changes.
💡 Highlights (AO1–AO3 Summary)
AO1 – Understanding: Clear grasp of key ideas — scarcity, inflation & government intervention.
AO2 – Application: Linked theory to real events, showing how markets and prices respond.
AO3 – Evaluation: Judged government measures and proposed practical alternatives.
✨ Key Takeaway:
The project fostered real-world awareness, analytical thinking, and teamwork — proving that Economics isn’t just theory, but the story behind every price, policy, and decision that shapes our daily lives.
