EARLY YEARS ACTIVITIES
Understanding The World Exhibit
To enrich life immeasurably, one must approach it with a sense of wonder and discovery, always challenge one’s potential, and try out new things. At Solitaire Global Schools, Attapur we constantly encourage our students to gather distinct and diverse experiences. With this intent, the Early Years section of the school organized the ‘UTW Exhibit’, an exhibition, exclusively done by our little wonders on 2nd December 2023.
The exhibit not only showcased lovely projects but also the talent of our stars who confidently demonstrated their models. The parents were excited and extremely happy to see the learners speak so well and applaud the understanding of the content. Stay tuned for more events by the sweet munchkins.

World Soil Day
“Planting trees is to plant a life – Let the Green be seen” The little learners of Early years at Solitaire Global Schools, Attapur celebrated “World Soil Day – Plantation drive Haritha Haram” on 5th Dec 2023 to know the importance of trees and soil in everyday life. The tiny tots performed a wonderful dance followed by a skit. The EY teachers also performed a beautiful puppet show for the little ones to understand the importance of the day. Haritha Haram Program is one of the successful programs implemented by the Telangana Government and keeping that in mind the lovely kids of EY planted medicinal herbs and plants on the campus. The day ended with lovely activities held in class.

Festivals of India
Whenever we think or hear about the word festival automatically a smile comes on our face. We started thinking of the clothes we would wear, the food we would eat, gifts we would exchange. But celebrating special days or any festivals in a school means much more than that. There are many special days and festivals celebrated throughout the world but celebrating a festival in a school with friends and teachers is a very special thing for any child. To keep the spirit of festivals in the young minds of the little learners of Early years, Solitaire Global Schools, Attapur held a special assembly on 8th Dec 2023. A festival is an occasion of enjoyment and celebration which promotes a child’s social interaction and harmony.
Kids will remember an important day or festival day only if they are told about what the occasion signifies. So a celebration makes them aware of things in a more fun and happy way. For a child, celebrating events and festivals in school has become an integral part of growing, learning new activities, and building a strong cultural belief. Celebrations bring the students or the children closer to each other’s cultural beliefs and traditions to develop respect and understanding for each other’s customs and traditions.
The students enjoyed performing multi-cultural festive songs along with lovely speeches and a game of “Guess the festival”. Here’s a glimpse.

Christmas Celebrations
Christmas is the festival that inspires the spirit of sharing and caring. The Christmas celebration was held on 22nd December 2023 by the Early years learners, Attapur branch. The school was beautifully decorated and everybody was dressed in red and white. The program started with information about Christmas and why it is celebrated. A beautiful skit followed depicting the scenes of the nativity of Jesus Christ interspersed with melodious carols sung by the choir.
Right from the conception of Mary to the birth of Jesus a harmonious story was displayed by the students. The event ended with cheerful Christmas greetings as the students danced to the melodious tunes of ‘Jingle Bells’ and ‘ We wish you a merry Christmas.’ The dazzling entry of Santa Claus added to the joy and excitement of the students. The boundless joy of celebrating the festival was visible on the faces of all the children. It was a joyous and amusing program for everyone.

Mathemania – Mathematics Day Celebration
Learning and fun goes hand in hand. Another special assembly held by Early years, Attapur for Mathematics day. Students came in dressed as famous Indian mathematicians and spoke confidently about their achievements. Beautiful rhymes were sung by the EY1 learners. An amazing display of Abacus by our learners of EY3.

The love for Mathematics continues. This time with a lovely audience who visited our little learners to motivate them. Thank you parents for making ‘Mathemania’ a grand success. The students displayed their models and explained it flawlessly. The appreciation received by the parents made it a proud moment for the Early years learners. Catch all the action here.

Exhibition at school
The Students participated very actively, they explained their project in front of their parents. This kind of expo enhances student’s abilities and increases their curiosity, encouraging hands on learning and cultivating interest in science. Parents were so impressed by the students conduct.

The Brain Booster Activity
This activity helps to unleash the power of the young minds and it also improves hand-eye coordination which improves motor skills. It mainly focuses on the concentration. By this playful brain exercise we can improve a child’s cognitive skills.

Glimpses of Puppet Show

Counting Skills
Ey-3 Ajax activity on before, after and between numbers. Counting before, after and between numbers improves the child ‘s counting skills, which will help Children to recognise the order of the numbers.

PRIMARY ACTIVITIES
100% Attendance in Term 2
B. Lasya Sri of Grade-1 Amigo achieved 100 % attendance in term-2 Well Done!!!

Math Activity-Mystery of Inverse Calculations
“Grade -2 learners unravel the mystery of inverse calculations”. Learning objectives of the activity : Understanding the concept of inverse operations in mathematics. Develop the ability to perform inverse calculations accurately. Apply inverse operations to solve basic mathematical equations. Enhance problem solving skills.

Lab Activity
Students draw the geometric shapes using the shape tools in MS. PAINT

Math & Abacus Activity
Learners practice mathematical sums using abacus- single and two digit numbers. It improves their self confidence, visualizations, listening skills, memory, speed, accuracy, imagination, presentation skills and creative ability. Learners make Right angles by using 2 sticks and also conclude that with 2 sticks which right angles cannot be formed.
Numerical Understanding: The abacus helps learners develop a strong understanding of numbers and place value. Counting Skills: By physically moving beads on the abacus, learners practice and improve their counting skills. Basic Arithmetic Operations: Learners can practice combining or taking away beads to solve simple arithmetic problems. Problem-Solving: By using the abacus to solve arithmetic problems, learners develop problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities. Fine Motor Skills: This helps improve hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.

Kudo Federation Cup 2023-24
Grade 2 Ajax Kush Sanghi won 2 gold and 1 silver medal for kudo karate In 4th kudo Federation Cup 2023-24 held at Surat, Gujrat organized by KIFi.

Shining Light on Sight
A Fourth-Grade Exploration of Vision with Shoeboxes and Coins . A marvelous hands-on experiment done where the fourth graders used a shoebox, flashlight, and coin to investigate how we perceive objects not emitting light. By creating predictions and testing them, students gained insights into the principles of sight. This activity not only fostered scientific curiosity but also honed their ability to draw conclusions based on observed results, providing a hands-on foundation for understanding vision and optics.

Path of Light
Our inquisitive Grade 4 students embarked on an exciting journey to understand the mysteries of light. Armed with plastic flexible tubes and flashlights, they engaged in hands-on experiments, exploring how light travels. Through their innovative investigations, these budding scientists discovered the fascinating journey light takes, paving the way for a brighter understanding of the world around them. Stay tuned for more scientific adventures from our inquisitive minds!

Making Christmas Greeting Cards
During the French session the students of Grade 4 and 5 made Christmas greeting cards and sang French songs.

MIDDLE AND SECONDARY ACTIVITIES
National Mathematics Day
National Mathematics Day serves as a platform to highlight the significance of mathematics in education. It encourages students, educators to appreciate the role of mathematics in shaping our understanding of the world and solving real-world problems. To maintain the uniqueness of the subject, our school conducted an Amazing Race in Mathematics on this day. The students were energetic, enthuastically participated in the race and emerged as winners. Congratulations to all the participants and winners. Great going Solitarians.
