Preparation Month

Our responsibilities during the upcoming examinations.

As..

Teachers:  Teachers are the best source of support for students, as they possess the right knowledge and can guide their students in the right direction to help them prepare for exams. It is they who can assist your students in approaching exams with confidence and the right mindset.

Parents: As mentors, parents can guide their children to formulate a plan. As friends, to their children, they should listen to the concerns and worries of their wards and provide unconditional support. Lastly, as disciplinarians, they should ensure that a scheduled routine is followed.

Students: As students, it is our responsibility to work hard and spend time wisely. It is only through hard work that we will be able to achieve our goals.

माँ

By Anusuya Mustapure

EARLY YEARS ACTIVITIES

Recreational tag games

Playing sports early enables children to participate in social interactions and build key social skills. This, in turn, will teach children to develop and practise various mental and moral qualities they learn in the field. Have a look at our tiny tots at Solitaire Global Schools, Attapur – EY3 working out on improving their gross motor skills.

Literacy fun activity based learning

Learning the alphabet involves much more than reciting the ABC song. Kids learn the alphabet when they learn letter recognition, learn letter sounds, and how to form letters. This is how they learned letter recognition in the Early years.

Plant a sapling

Today’s students are our tomorrow’s future. To keep the earth green, the little ones of Early years, Solitaire Global schools, Attapur and Kattedan planted little saplings to be cared for and nurtured by them. An initiative towards going green and learning to take care of plants is what they learned during the activity.

Field trip: Visit to community places

It was a fun day when the tiny tots visited the community places as a part of their ongoing theme. With live demonstrations from the firefighters, the learners learned about fire safety and understood the role of firefighters and how they protect life and property in the event of a fire in their area. Also, rescuing and protecting people in the event of other emergencies.
They were so excited to see the firefighters in action and experience the thrill.

The little ones in Solitaire global schools, Early Years learned that community helpers are the individuals who live and work in our community and ensure that the community stays healthy, safe, and happy. It was an exciting experience for them to see the policemen and how they work hard for the safety of the citizens. The most exciting part was viewing the control room and getting a glimpse of the city. What a lovely day embedded with information.

Visited the Police station and met the police who are one of the most important community helpers, and learned about protection and our safety. Good police community interaction is essential for fostering confidence between the police and the general public.

Our Community Helpers……

Community Helpers activity ” is a wonderful way to broaden the child’s horizons and help them learn about the world beyond home–their community. Community Helper’s Day was organised in the school for Early Years .They were dressed up as nurses, policemen, doctors, soldiers, vegetable vendor, farmers, and teachers. They presented their views happily and said that they loved their job. They enjoyed the role play that was given to them by teachers. Altogether, it was a very fruitful activity for the little ones.

Chromatography Experiment

Chromatography is a versatile technique used to separate and analyse complex mixtures. In this experiment, students in grade 7 utilised paper chromatography to separate the various components present in a black ink sample. By employing a solvent (water) as the mobile phase and filter paper as the stationary phase, Students were able to observe the movement and separation of pigments based on their different solubilities. The experiment provided a hands-on understanding of chromatography principles and demonstrated its utility in the analysis of complex mixtures.

“The Rice Jumpers: Unveiling the Wacky Science of Sound!”

Our 5th grade students discovered that sounds are generated through vibrations produced by certain sources. They observed an intriguing phenomenon where the rice grains placed on the plastic wrap exhibited movement and vibrations upon striking the metal tray.

Vote for Democracy

Young voters lined up at the polling booth. Enthusiasm is glaring. Let me choose my leader of tomorrow for the betterment of my future ?‍♂️?‍♂️ keep going solitarian’s.
